The firm was founded in order to produce investment returns significantly ahead of the many broader market indices. Gondolin takes a bottoms-up, fundamental approach to value investing, with a concentrated portfolio and contrarian investment ideas leading to outsized returns for investors. Our focus is mostly in domestic equity securities, with a long-biased portfolio across various industries and market cycles. Gondolin’s opportunistic approach utilizes a non-leveraged, cash-rich balance sheet and maintains a long-term view of all its holdings.
